Ric Wood Motorsport specialises in LS1 & LS2 based race engines as fitted to our Holden road, race car and Calibra. With up to 740BHP these big V8 deliver huge amounts of torque without being highly stressed. A single engine is quite capable of lasting a full race season without a major rebuild. we have many seasons worth of experience with these engines. We produce our own LS1 and LS2 gas flowed cylinder heads for these engines – CNC engineered for precise accurate results guaranteed.
These engines are popular in TVR, Ultima and GT40 & Cobra replicas and we have experience of building many engines for road and race purposes. The SV6000 shows what can also be done with a supercharger for your Holden Commodore or Vauxhall VXR8.

Each engine is custom built and tested on our in-house engine dyno. We provide all aspects of engine fitting, transmission options and rolling road testing.
